Holly graduated from Aquinas College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and later went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University. Formerly, she was a special education teacher for children with various disabilities. Holly is currently am a stay-at-home mom of four children ages 8, 6, 4, & 1.
As a former collegiate track runner, healthy living and fitness have always been an important part of her life. After college Holly became a spin instructor and continued running. In the fall of 2011, she started training at CrossFit Petoskey. Her passion for CrossFit started there and continued through her fourth pregnancy.
In May of 2014 Holly completed her CrossFit Level One Certification, and has been coaching at Crossfit Petoskey since that time. She currently coaches the Women's Only 10:00am class on Mondays and the 4:00 pm group class on Wednesdays. As a CrossFit coach, Holly enjoys watching men and women alike making great gains on many levels. She loves that CrossFit can be scaled to meet anyone's needs - old, young, experienced, and novice.
